Down Stream

Grand Prismatic

This may look like a normal river, but one touch of the water will prove otherwise. The white slope on the far edge of the water looks this way due to water from a massive array of hot springs at the top of the hill. The hot water flows into this stream raising the temperature significantly and at times the water in this area is too hot to touch. That is not expected in such a cool climate as Yellowstone National Park is in.
